Keep in mind that it usually takes about three or four hours to visit the entire site, so take it easy. It is important to remember that for reasons of capacity and conservation you are allocated a set time when you must enter the Nasrid palaces . However, you can visit the Alcazaba and Generalife at any time during the day of your visit. Avoid queues. For example, if your scheduled time to enter the Palaces is 13:00, you can start your visit with the Generalife at 11:00 in the morning, when its cooler, then move on to the Alcazaba, leaving the Palaces until last. Or you can start off with the Palaces and spend the rest of the afternoon visiting the other areas, its entirely up to you. If you would like to pause for refreshments during your visit, the Granada Parador is the perfect place to rest your legs.

We recommend that you purchase your tickets directly from the official website, as you need to provide personal identification details. There are other websites where you can buy tickets but these are simply intermediaries, or offer additional services such as transportation or a tour guide. There are also different types of tickets and depending on how your visit is arranged, and whether or not you want to visit other monuments, so you can choose the option that best suits you.
